Yeah, fuck this. This is bad feminism. There’s nothing wrong with shaving your legs if you want to. There’s nothing wrong with not shaving your legs if you don’t want to. My choice to shave isn’t any more valid than your choice not to, and vice versa. It’s not okay to shame people for choosing not to shave, using words like mutilation to put a negative spin on it. Let’s look at the definition of mutilation.
1. To deprive of a limb or an essential part; cripple.
2. To disfigure by damaging irreparably
3. To make imperfect by excising or altering parts.
Does shaving cripple you, or leave you with a lost limb? If it does, you’re doing it wrong. Does shaving irreparably damage you? No, shit fucking grows back. Does shaving make you imperfect? Only in the eyes of body-shaming psuedofeminists.
How about just mind their own fucking business, because the only body hair that concerns you at all is your own.
Women have hair. They aren’t little girls anymore so grow a pair stop fucking complaining.
Oh, so because I can grow hair I’m supposed to not shave and I should keep my mouth shut about it. Wow, so progressive, especially that part where you told me to “grow a pair”
The lack of hair on my legs has never and will never play a role in any part of your life. So get over it.
